No Apologies

I went for a workshop called No Apologies organised by my church yesterday morning. Was quite an eye-opening workshop cuz.. obviously.. it was all about.. life, love + sex. Haha. But of course they didn't go so in detail about sex. Which is a good thing. Lol!

Ps. Mike was the one who conducted this workshop. It felt kinda awkward at first.. Like we don't usually get exposed to all these in school. Teacher never advice students not to do it, that's why nowadays, kids learn the wrong things because of what they see on their teevee. =.= And there you go.. A 13 year old kid becoming a father. =.=

Student's workbook.

It's a good workshop especially for those who are still teenagers or those who are in a relationship and who aren't married yet. :) I advice all of you to go for this workshop if there's any one conducting near you. Cuz you won't regret spending almost 6 hours there learning mostly on how to say No to premarital sex.

Because there are a lot of consequences to bear if you do it before you really settle down with your spouse. Buying baby stuffs, funds to raise the child.. The scariest one is the viruses you might.. I'm quite sure everyone knows HIV and AIDS. But have you heard of Human Papilloma Virus HPV?? This is much scarier! If you're curious, click on the website to check it out then. >.<
Anyway, we were showed many different people being interviewed on when they have lost their virginity. And some were very shocking because at the age they did it (they reached their puberty way too early I guess), it's like the time when other kids were still watching Barney and Friends or Rugrats or something.. Isn't it better sitting in front of the teevee watching Barney and Friends or Rugrats better than doing something that it's not even their thing to do? Live your childhood to the max man!

The main thing they showed us in the video is that they said how much they regret for doing it and losing it at such a young age. And if they could turn back time, they will choose not to have their virginity taken away from them so quickly.

At the end of the workshop, we got pledge cards. One for our witness to have and one for us to keep. :) One of my churchmember asked us to ask our parents to get us purity rings. Lol. Straight away reminded me of the Jo Bros. :D Ahhh. The cute brothers. xD
But I heard they were being teased just because they have it on their fingers, which I think is so ridiculous to laugh at them. *Hmph!* What's wrong with wearing purity rings?? Well, at least they are making the right move and those who laughed have no right to laugh at them.

Okay next topic.. Hmm, most of you readers (teenagers) went for Cheer '09 huh? :( Too bad I couldn't go.. Was busy yesterday and today. Sigh. *sobs.. Hollaback..* So I guess most of the teenagers' blogs will be on Cheer '09 for these few days with lotsa lotsa pictures. Lol.

Oh yeah, what do you think about my blog's header? :D Vote on the poll on your right! Happy voting. ^.^

My family and I had been Michael Jackson overdose recently. Suprisingly, I'm not sick of it at all. :) He is indeed really a legend. ;) God bless his spirit and God bless you readers too. :) Ciao.
